2010 Acton Garden Plant Sale

May 15th was a beautiful day for the Acton Garden Club's annual Plant Sale. Customers were lined up waiting for the Town Hall bells to chime 9:00 am and off they went with wagons to collect their new garden treasures.

With over 2600 perennials and annuals available there was a plant or two for everyone.

This year's raffle prizes included a watercolor by William Sawyer, handmade large tote bag, a 'Nakuro Mishiki' Willow tree from Kennedy's, a necklace from Appleseeds, a bleeding heart from Jane Olesin, a granite birdbath, a bottle of wine from Colonial Liquors, and gift certificates from Idlywilde, Donelan's, Roche Bros, Margo's, Barron Chiropractic & Wellness center, and Mahoney's. Each winner was delighted with their prize.

The plant sale is our largest fundraiser that supports our community beautification and educational efforts along with an ABRHS scholarship and Teacher Grants. Thank you to your continued support of this event.

A Job well Done!
