For Art in Bloom 2009, April 25-27,2009, at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, Thelma Shoneman, arranger, and Sandra Bonzagni, assistant, interpreted a carved relief entitled “Relief of Winged Protective Deity”.

The art object was in the Assyrian gallery. Flowers used in the design were allium, beehive ginger, monstera leaf, heliconia, aspidistra, orchids, leucodendron, flax, berzillia, xanadu leaf and date palm. The plant material was selected for texture and shape. Much of the plant material was grown in the Near East.
