Nancy Engel is a floral designer and has had a booth at the Boston Flower Show for over 20 years. She was trained in Medical Aromatherapy in the South of France with Dr. Daniel Penoel.
There will be samples of Lavender butter and crackers, Lavender Tea, and scents.
Members should come dressed in Lavender to celebrate.

May 3       ‘The Constant Garden: Two Thousand Years of Botanical Art’
A Slide Presentation - ‘The Constant Garden’ shows how artists ranging from the muralists of ancient Rome to installation artists of the 20th century have drawn inspiration from nature. This is an introduction to some of the myriad ways in which flowers and plants have influenced human visual and material culture. In addition, Joan Gardner and Susanne Fuller will display antique linens and needlework featuring designs and patterns from nature.

The Newtons have excellent aviaries as well as beautiful plantings, including bamboo and lilac collections and a large vegetable garden.
Leave from the Acton Center Fire Station to carpool at 9:00am
